"Yeah baby, I can do it TWICE in one week"
I'm currently waiting around the MC on a Friday when I don't have any more classes. It makes me feel dirty and I don't like it, but I'd like to talk to my Graph Theory prof sometime today, and I know he'll be in his office *eventually*. I skipped class for some extra sleep on Wednesday, and Andrea has alerted me to the fact that he made some mention of looking for some students to do research. She didn't know the details, but if he's looking for next term or the first term of my grad studies (assuming I do them), rather than during the summer, it sounds like it could be a really good opportunity for me.
I've finally surpassed Andrew on the euchre rankings to take sixth place, and I'm within two points of Quinn who is in fifth. With only three meetings left, the rankings are more or less set in stone (unless the top three people fall ill and miss some meetings), but fifth ain't that bad.
I'm wary to say that after this weekend I'll be on easy street for a while, because I said something to that effect LAST weekend. I don't know what made me think I'd have it much easier this weekend, perhaps just because I thought I'd spend more time studying for my two midterms than I actually did. This weekend (and early next week) I'll have to finish my marking, physics assignment, and a crypto assignment. Unless I'm mistaken, next weekend the only thing I'll have on my plate is some marking. Of course, if I were smart I'd start studying for final exams that weekend, but exam studying is much more of a December thing, don't you think?
I'm come to the conclusion that if I had some romantic prospects in my life, I'd probably do a lot more stuff. I was looking in Imprint which had a few adverts for some plays going on, and I thought to myself "that would be something fun to do for a date". I wouldn't really go for many other reasons, unless someone was deadset on going.
I was watching some videos of Guitar Hero the other night...how lame is that? If one thing keeps me from buying it, it is probably the TERRIBLE vocals on the Bad Religion cover ("Infected"). It was actually quite painful to listen to after hearing the song so many times before. I think there was some other song where the vocals were quite questionable, but I forget which it was. Perhaps if I find myself with nothing to do next weekend, and a newfound research position, I could justify such a purchase (BTW Paul, how much did you pay and from where did you get it? FShop has it for $89.99 but I'm certain I could find it for $79.99 somewhere in Canada).
I almost feel like I shouldn't buy mcuh for myself for the sole fact that my parents never know what to get me for Xmas (and they really like to spoil me). A camera would be nice, but I would use it so rarely. GH2 would be fun, but I'd like that before Xmas. A Wii would be a great gift, but I have no time to play it. Maybe a list of DVD sets and DS games. I guess that's one of the VERY FEW problems with having enough money to buy stuff that I want (but of course I'm not complaining).
I wonder when Richter will be back in his office...I have to trek up two flights of stairs so I don't want to make a wasted trip if he's not back yet. I think I'll browse the internets for some 20 minutes.

Firstly, if you're ever in Kingston, look up this store called, "The Minotaur". You'll like it. Maybe you already know about it, or it's a chain or something.
As for GH2... I got the without guitar version, which ran me 59.99, cause I already have a guitar from the first game.
The vocals are MOSTLY ok... and for some tracks, the original artists provided the original tracks cause they were fans of the game. Nirvana's track and a coupla others aren't so good, but really, that's not what you're focussing on... it's all about the gameplay WITH the music.
