Linux is sounding less crazy...
Happy belated birthday to my honey Sheena Wood. You still gotta get your gift girl.
Let's look at the problems my computer's given me lately:
-static from audio channels when typing
-error loading bridge.dll upon restart
-checking E: partition upon startup
-two spyware apps that won't leave
-CD-RW giving power calibration error
-CloneCD locking up during test burn
I hate computers. I wonder what life would be like without a computer....*shudder*
Buffy season 1 kicks ass. I like how it's not all vampires, most episodes are random supernatural things, like being possessed by a hyena. They play a lot of metal/rock music in the episodes too.
The LAN party was good, albeit slightly underpopulated. Nathan wound up going to camp, but Adam, Phil, Chris, Turner and I all had a real hoot playing Diablo and counterstrike. My necro was absolutely useless to the rest of the party. If I ever play a necro again, I'll go summons and curses, instead of summons and bone spells. I'll still likely choose a sorceress over a necro though, and I still haven't played much of the other classes (other than the amazon). It would have likely been a lot more fun with 8 people, with 4v4 CS and a full room in diablo. I suppose it just gets hard to track everyone though.
We all stayed up until about 4, then Phil, Turner and Adam went out for coffee since adam had to work at 5. Turner and Phil came back here and the four of us slept til 8 AM, then we played some more games. I was pretty tired all day, but I had a nap at about 1 PM which gave me a little boost. I'm still very ready for bed right now though, I'll be out like a light.
The cd swapping and slide card technique works, but it's irritating. Often the load times during the game seem longer, and it froze once when accessing the memory card, which I hope is an unrelated matter. Well, once I get a few good games, it will be worth the $100 I pumped into it, assuming I don't fuck up my laser or disc tray anytime soon, since I have no warranty and I'm betting I can't get one anymore.
Drakengard sucks, it's too repetitive. And on that note, I'm going to bed.
Note: I know I had some link that stuck out in my head as important, something I really wanted to show everyone, but I honestly cannot remember what it was. If you remember what it was, bring it to my attention.
