Over a week since the last post. Unfortunately, nothing of much importance has happened to nudge me to make a post.

Work this week was pretty killer. Today I moved computers in to three schools, two of which had massive staircases to get to the main lab. The moving guy threw his back out at the first school, so it was all me and Kaarlo at one point. We're not big guys, and believe me when I say that we were absolutely plum tuckered after those schools. Luckily, it's Friday.

Adam is in this weekend, but he seems to be pretty busy already. He came over last night (and made me cut back on my sleep), and it looks like he's busy tonight. He might make it tomorrow, especially if I can get a poker tournament together like I want to. He bought one of the new slim PStwos. Shit, that thing is so small. I almost want my old one to die so I can get one of those too. Of course, then I'd have to sink some more money into the system itself, plus a new boot disk set.

I started playing Diablo 2 with Vicky again, but I'm already pretty well bored with it. It would be nice to get at least four people in a party. It gets pretty boring when it's just two people.

I got Growlanser in the mail the other day. Yes, I actually pnied up the cash for it. Lately I've been spending a lot of money on myself. I don't really know where it's all gone. I've sunk some cash into clothes, food, games, and of course poker. I think I'm starting to play a bit better. I've stopped playing junky hands, but now no one will call me when I raise cause they know I've got something really good.

I've got a damned summer cold. I thought I was over it since Monday, but I've still gotta blow my nose way more than necessary. My eyes have been itchy too.

Wednesday was the first day of my enrollment appointment. I had a schedule all figured out, but as usual they chaged the timeslots for half my courses on the day I was going to enrol in them. I couldn't get in to one of my courses because of it, but I've got a suitable replacement. I've got a few gaps in the schedule too, but that might be for the better. During that time I can sneak into a lab and do some CS assignments, or just cruise for girls on campus.

My dog has had this growth on his eye for the last year or so. I'm not sure it's a growth so much as part of his eyeball, but regardless, it's very creepy and he certainly can't see out of that eye. Today it kinda popped. I don't know if he scratched it or something, but there was blood on half his face, and he was rubbing at it with his paww and getting his paw all bloody. It was very unsettling. He seems to be fine, but I still think someone should bring him to the vet to make sure it doesn't get infected. It is an open wound, and if I had an open wound ona moist part of my body, I'd probalby be worried about it getting infected too.

Link of the moment... I've still gotta find something for Adam to get me for my birthday. My gift to him was Gran Turismo 4.
