Is a games club redundant?
I keep second guessing my club. I was talking to some people at Euchre last night about it, I guess. My biggest concern is that the Mathsoc games night already exists. They have a leg up in the fact that they are currently operating, and have a games base already. However, it's mostly only for math students, and they don't advertise well at ALL. Sonya and I started talking about board games last night; aparently she wants to get some sort of games night happening as well. Hopefully we can get together sometime to play.
I'm still debating Civ 3 vs. Civ 4:
Civ 4
+built in multiplayer support
+great graphics
+regarded as the best game in the series
-expensive ($50)
-high system requirements
Civ 3
+cheap ($10)
+can run on most computers (so I can get John and Andrew hooked)
-would have to buy expansion for multiplayer
Paying an extra $40 just bothers me, but I also hate the feeling of having something mediocre when there's something better out there. I just spent nearly $50 on GBA games, and I have no idea how much I'll play and enjoy Civ.
I got back my PM336 midterm, and got 43/45! That was a very pleasant suprise. I got Linear Opt back, and I only got 70 as opposed to the 80 I was expecting. Still waiting for Number Theory to come back.
I just had supper, but I'm fuckin hungry already. I really wanna try getting the Dominos 5-5-5 deal. I can already taste the thin crust pepperoni pizza...yum. Of course, I'm not going to buy 3 medium pizzas myself...I've gotta con another three or four people into it.

Link of the moment... Hopefully I can win season 1 of this on eBay.

I think the game club is still a good idea. If you want some euchre tips, check out the euchre blog,
