Emo emo emo, blah blah blah.

Well, today has been uneventful so far. Lunch, laundry, grocery shopping, then supper. Tonight I'm going to a drag show on campus though. I don't know what's happening after that, but I hope it's something as opposed to nothing.

Last night we went to an English pub, the Fox and Fiddle. Lots of Julie's (John's girlfriend) friends were there. I brought Steffi and two of her friends with me as well, because she invited me to watch a movie earlier in the day that I couldn't go to. I wonder about that girl sometimes...inviting me spontaneously to watch a movie might mean something, but then again it may mean nothing. Well, I had some good conversation anyways.

Well I think I'll put off Civ 4 for a while (yes, I think I'll get Civ 4 after all). I started playing Disgaea, and it's got my interest, so once I sicken myself of this game, I'll see if Civ 4 has dropped in price at all.

Thursday was a sort of eventful night. I got Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers from Mathsoc. I also got some Domino's pizza. If you haven't tried before, get a thin crust pizza with BBQ sauce instead of regular sauce and chicken. It's a good combo, especially with other pizzas. We ate the pizza and watched an episode of Firefly (The Train Job). John didn't hate it, and Julie actually liked it. After that we tried playing Carcassonne, and I realy didn't like it that much. It's not a good game for impatient people, since people tend to take a lot of time to consider where to put the tile they just drew.

I think what I'll do is go to the sporting store (to clear up a clerical error they made involving my skate rentals), and then go to Rogers Video and finally use up the gift certificate I have. I think I'll rent Dragon Quest 8 and perhaps another yet-undecided PS2 game to burn them and add them to my collection. Of course, by the time I actually get around to playing all my burned games, they'll be far outdated. Still, it makes me feel like I'm "sticking it to the man", and I doubt I'll use my gift card otherwise.

I guess I need to update my resume as well. There's a part time job fair in the SLC Monday, and I should start activiely looking at prospects for the summer.
