That time of the month again
Yes folks...it's that time of the month again. I do of course mean that it's the time of the month when I fall in love with some new girl. I am very much convinced it happens nearly on a monthly basis. This time, I think it might be different: I am confident enough to ask this one out on a date.
Well, I shouldn't say too much. After all, my blog is easily found on google, and I don't want to be one of those people who uses their blog as a personal diary. Of course...that doesn't leave much for me to talk about, does it?
I had a great time last night at Sonja/Cathy's (the euchre girls) house. I brought Andrew and we played Catan, Ticket to Ride, Rook, and Euchre. Unfortunately between the first three games, evreyone won a game but me. TtR was really close...Cathy won only because she had the longest route (beat me by 2 points). It was a fun night, even if I feel a little guilty about not doing my Real Analysis assignment. My prof said today that the exam will be based mostly on the assignments, so perhaps I should figure out how to do all the questions without looking at the solutions first. On the other hand, I could just learn the questions from the solutions themselves and stop giving a rat's ass about Calculus which I'll never have to understand again (and this time I mean it).
Well, I've got a few pros and cons at the moment. John and Andrew are both gone for the weekend, and I'm rather behind in some courses (suprisingly, the ones in which I skipped assignments). I also have a large (15%) assignment due Thursday for a course. On the plus side for the day, I wrote a midterm, and I'm confident I got perfect (or close). And of course my chances may be looking good with my lady friend, so that's got me cautiously excited. What I'm hoping is that I'll get caught up on my work since John and Andrew are gone, giving me a feeling of accomplishment.
I'm trying to think of something worth posting on studentlifecentre.com. The webmaster is trying to get everyone who recently signed up for an account to post something since he's leaving soon and is keeping an eye open for a replacement. All I need is a scoop...
